Collection: Lubricants
A lubricant (sometimes shortened to lube) is a substance that helps to reduce friction between surfaces in mutual contact, something of great importance to any manual focus lens as the helicoid and any other moving parts require lubrication for just the right amount of glide, friction and damping factor. VintageLenz.com formulates specialized helicoid grease with a variety of viscosity so you can control the resistance within the focus ring. Some parts may benefit from dry lubrication, which as the name suggests will never dry out and clog up, unlike all those vintage lenses with a stuff or stuck focus ring.
